Description
It's not terribly interesting from an artistic standpoint, but I thought it might at least interest those who are more technically minded. This is a shader I created which is meant to imitate the look of aged parchment/vellum, like one might find in a medieval manuscript. The text, which is actually some Taylor Swift lyrics that I've translated/adapted into what I hope is decent Classical Greek, was applied using a mask. I like to imagine that this could be a Byzantine work, since you're more likely to dig up a Greek text than a Latin one in Byzantium.
Constructive critique regarding realism is welcome as always!

A very interesting work. I like that. Perhaps we should still make the edges slightly uneven.

Ancient Greek not really my forte unless you're a philosophy major, i do speak modern Greek, from what i understand there were 4 or 5 different alphabet forms of ancient Greek according to region Athens ,Rhodes , Corinth etc. etc. that would add to the confusion of the translation ! IMHO about about the render it would be nice to see a bit of torn edges and aging on the materials since we are talking ancient, or possibly more of a hand written effect on the fonts i am sure you did your homework for this on translation, just a bit of constructive criticism ..
