It's not terribly interesting from an artistic standpoint, but I thought it might at least interest those who are more technically minded. This is a shader I created which is meant to imitate the look of aged parchment/vellum, like one might find in a medieval manuscript. The text, which is actually some Taylor Swift lyrics that I've translated/adapted into what I hope is decent Classical Greek, was applied using a mask. I like to imagine that this could be a Byzantine work, since you're more likely to dig up a Greek text than a Latin one in Byzantium. Constructive critique regarding realism is welcome as always!
