Description

"#2 of Blue, White, and Cold" and the last one...lol Kootenay Lake, British Columbia, Canada Image taken about a half mile farther up the lake. Most days on the lake, whether it be summer or winter, it really is rare to see more than 1 or 2 others boats out on the water. The Lake itself is very deep with depths of 250 ft. just a matter of 20 to 30 ft. off shore. Also because of the combination of water movement and depth the lake itself doesn't freeze up although every so often the harbour will when an arctic freeze comes in with sustained temperatures of -15 to -30 degrees C.
