Description

This is my very first attempt using Water Soluble Oilpaint. Not a masterpiece though. I need to study rules for this medium a little more. I bought an oilcolor pad, but using oil color brushes on that, wasnt a good idea. It spoils the paper, so one rule. Only use soft brushes when you work on paper :D After this, I will only use the pad for sketches or maybe acrylic doodles and fun. But again... I always paint for fun. :) Have a wonderful Weekend. We have stormy weather with hurricane in between. I am glad we have good warmth in here. Thank you so much for viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. It is highly appreciated :)

This is a wonderful view and compo, Helle. Don't know what is an oilcolor pad. Is it canvas-board? Is this painting made on paper, by using 'Water Soluble Oilpaint', never heart of this medium before. Anyway you did a good job by it. :)

I've never heard of water soluble oilpaint! What a concept! I like the way it looks ... predictably half way between watercolors and oils. VERY nice! It has the soft look of watercolors with the color saturation of oils. Beautiful!

Nicely done Helle. My dad used to paint in all sorts of mediums...but water soluable oils would have been something new for him. Four years ago last September, he took his painting to a higher level;-)

A beautiful vibrant scene you have painted here. The water soluble oils sound like fun too. I guess it acts quite differently to watercolour. I like this one.
