PLEASE ZOOM IN I am happy to say that the USS Yorktown CV5 is now available on Cornucopia 3D for all VUE 6 thru 10 users. This render is done in Vue 6 on a Mac. Except for the planes, this is the base model. I have gone in and added Vue's rust procedural to the materials I provide for a bit more weathering and changed the plate line bump from .030 to .010 for this particular lighting. The model is broken down into a Hull, the Flight Hangers, the Flight Deck, and Conning Tower so that one can position planes and figures with greater ease. The 5", 75 and 50 Cal guns are also in three separate groups. The Docking bars shown here are removable.. but I wanted to provided them anyway... can't be in battle state always. This is a large model... almost 200 megs and 1.35M polygons..however this render, 33inches wide at 72dpi took less the 7 minutes. While I am not giving this away, she sells for 24.95 and is locked only, she is my Christmas present to all those interested at a price many times below what is available elsewhere.
