Description
With countless foto files in reserve, what price diversity?
Five out of a total of 34 pics of the lily pads, captured 6/28/09, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, on the beautiful campus of California State University Long Beach, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A one acre site, with the clearest pond water under the circumstances. Not as large as Andrea's prolific estate, but holds its own in elegance.
Much better detail via ZOOM.
Normally, this pond/lake is well stocked with the beautiful koi/carp, but during that period in 2009 virtually the entire population of the fish had been decimated by the virulent koi virus, and the process of restocking the pond was just beginning. I assume the koi are now back in full force at this juncture. I intend to return to check it out.
Sayonara, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.
