I am not christmas crazy, never really was. I find this time of year to be depressing..so bah humbug..
everything from cornucopia.
Especially this year...first year my stepfather is in a nursing home for christmas.. and well his stepfather is terminal..we don't know if he will make it to christmas...so...
as you can see..depressing

Wonderful image! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! I've never been Christmas crazy either, it seems to be more and more of a commercial hassle every year! So I join you in a chorus of bah humbug ;)

Love the sign on the building - super work, Cheryl! I can relate, my friend - two elderly parents here are in their last chapter as well... It does get depressing.

hon since utes kids died xmas was never the same again ,and before in my childhood my father was especially in good shape for the traditionnal xmas beating of my mother and us kids,so xmas for me was always sh..mas-lol

We should distinguish between Christmas (for the Christmas story etc) and Yuletide (for the jollifications). Christmas shopping, though, belongs in Purgatory.

holidays just does nothing for me.back when I was working, just another day that I could not work.hope the best for him. a good friend of mine is in a nursing home in Washingtoncourthouse,Ohio. he is physically able but mentally he has no idea where he is even though I have told him and I am sure the staff tells him.he had a head injury in the military and it has caught up with him.the military denied him medical help every since
