Description

"Lunar Eclipse Stuns Skywatchers In Western Canada" Skywatchers couldn't believe their eyes the other morning as they witnessed the Earth passing between the sun and the moon, casting our planet's natural satellite completely in shadow. More than one observer telephoned local authorities and described the look of sheer panic on the moon's face as the darkness closed in all around it. Thank goodness the International Space Station was still being manned allowing the astronauts up there to send reassuring radio waves to Old Man Moon and calming him down until it passed. MB3D Continuation of a "composition of geometric plane" played with in CS4 and PB5.

Very cool work on this! Looks great. I was sleeping during the eclipse. It was heavy cloud when I got up so probably couldn't have seen much of it anyway.

I live in Washington but where I live the fog has been so thick the last 3 nights that we haven't even been able to see the moon but I heard it was awesome and so is this image my friend

I missed the actual eclipse,which I heard was suppose to appear blood red.That must have been impressive.At least,I now get to see your version of it which is also impressive.

You are so tricky with your title but I love the story here. I didn't rise to watch the eclipse but have seen several over the years...it is indeed scary when the moon goes red (the ancient's "Blood Moon" maybe?) but solar eclipses are even scarier when the world goes dark.
