Description
A thistle above the cliffs on the way to the rope bridge. They all had a view across the North Channel to Scotland...
It had started raining too, as Andrea asked yesterday! Thankfully it was light rain, so my camera was quite happy under my jacket until I spotted something.

A perfect photo of this lovely flower. It's actually a Common Knapweed, which is why it has no nasty prickly bits!! (Centaurea nigra)
