Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

One of my all-time favorite places! The chain-link fence makes me think this was before it was open to the public. Wow. What a great shot! I love the reflection of the Wall. Terrific image!

Deep rich colors. Beautiful reflections. What a phenominal piece of public art. We walked around and around and even under 'The Bean' in early October. The people visiting there and the ever changing weather makes this attraction different every day. I've got more shots of this to post over time. I've taken some from 'the navel' that are quite unique.

I love the intense blues in this shot as well as Da Bean itself. NO matter what, I'll always expect Klaatu and Gort to come out of it...eventually, and the POV here makes it look quite impressively large. It is large, but it's never as large as photographs make it seem and I think that's one of the aspects of Da Bean's magic.

A reason that I must get there sometime - so many POV available! I really like that sky, Clive
