I like this quite a lot. I can see what I imagine to be ground under water (as with a puddle) but with an eye pattern imposed on it, which gives the eye a nicely eerie quality as if it actually is a window to some place other than the back of the head! I love the shape (as with the companion piece to this) and the concept is amazing.

And here's the creature's cousin who spent some time in the sun and got a little tan. The two circles together look like a drum head but I'm thinking the whole image is from a photo of some earth. Really nice post work.
