Wow! What a great action shot! You can see how fast it was moving ... excellent capture!

Great shot! But the bird is most probably a Clark's nutcracker of which there are many in residence on the rim of Crater Lake in the summer. They like higher elevations where the whitebark pine trees grow. They become very used to people and good beggars and thieves in touristy locations.
