Fascinating to see somewhere I've never been. Piers are endlessly fascinating.

Reminds me of POP in California.....only still alive!

Plenty of lifebelt's around-usually these are nicked and thrown into the sea ( For Fun! ) Really quite a good idea to make the lifeboat station fit in by building it where they did. too cold to say anymore - i'm freezing

Zoom is great. I love this (very sharp) capture, it has a so many details on it, Jeff. You really did a great job here, despite of the wind.

Fascinating subject. Are the lifeboats still used? We had many such stations in this country but for the last 50-60 years, the Coast Gurad has used all kinds of power boats and helicopters.

A super clear capture of this scene. That looks an interesting pier there.

A wonderful capture Jeff and very nice clarity in zoom mode. Piers are always worth a long look. Many of the historic piers, along the east coast of the US, due to hurricanes.
