My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This is my favorite view of this city...but most of that also has to do with the company. It was almost like hanging out with Pavl in Prague...only without a Czech accent, chain-smoking, and getting snockered and falling (once) into the Vltava River. Needless to say, it seems like a blur to me as well; the days/nights you were here and we were all hanging out remain at the forefront of my mind, but there's an odd time-dilation effect taking place too...it seems like yesterday, it seems like last year...and when I'm on State Street now, things get all shifty and slippery and un-stuck in time. Funny how that works. And as for this photo! I remember it on your screen and seeing the tripod setup. I love the colors and the linear blur in this. I also love the way it has the overall shape and proportions of a book cover! What's not to like about that!? Oh, and just so you'll know: I've developed quite an insatiable taste for pecan sandies!

Ha ha, Chicage was a blur for me too last time I was there sleeping in the airport in a blizzard...it really was a blur!

Quite a pretty blur Tara. Our trip to the US last May seems years ago now and I would love to go again.

Nothing beats a good old fashioned theater marquee. I tried to eliminate blur...you added it...great idea. Love the colorful, creative results.

Oh, very well done; the colours are so THERE, if you know what I mean...I love the inherent movement that feels so deliberate and controlled. You are GOOD!

It is amazing how time flies--or crawls--and this foto is the perfect example. My time in Chicago was over two years ago and I feel the same way. Wasn't it just yesterday I went searching for the Redhead Bar???

This really does give the impression of time just flying by! It goes so much faster when you're doing something you really love! A very cool neon abstract, Tara!
