I like the idea of re-siting Venice on a clifftop - it will solve all of the flooding problems at a stroke! But how did you make the city? It seems to follow the map - is it CityEngine or an ecosysem or have you placed all of the buildings individually?

This is just awesome ! You should add the many channels of water that are in Venice and that you miss here... imagine them doing waterfalls at the edges...
