Description

I uploaded this pack to the marketplace just today. I think they came out pretty good. There are 10 trees in total. 6 variations of the adult, and there are 4 saplings. Loosely based on the Norway Spruce, and a species I see all over the place here, yet can't for the life of me identify them :P Anyways, there just aren't enough decent evergreens around, unless you want to spend big bucks. These ones are pretty cheap. Will be set at $8.50 should they pass testing. But making these I found to not really be that difficult. I know I can improve them too. With these I basically put together one branch, replicated it, distributed it, varied it in size, and rotation. But I think the next ones I'll do say four or five varying branches, and go that route. I think I may make many more over time as well, though more speices specific. I would like to make some red cedars, as well as some good scots pines, some blue spruce, and of coarse some fairly detailed giant sequoias. But anyone that knows me, knows that that MAY never come to pass, as I'm all over the place with what I work on. Always have half a dozen projects on the go at once. Grass is by Bigbraader, for free, I think here in freestuff. Anyways, when they are available, there are both VOBs and OBJs. Bloody huge zip files though :P Jeebus VOBs take up a lot of space. Thanks for looking, I know not an exciting or really even very interesting a pic, but meh. I love nature shots, even the less epic ones. Cheers Darrin (Swidhelm)

These are awesome! The bark came out great and the branches are very convincing as is. Excellent and realistic render. Nice variations. There are not enough inexpensive quality trees out there for sure. If this is a start, would love to see a continuation and more species. Excellent work.

Yes. Some branches are rotated. For this price should not complain. Great real trees, and an equally good rendering.
