Description
Beren had reported all that Moira told him to Ursala. At first she was taken back at Moira's 'healing' but then she began to laugh. "Trust thet girl ta be diff'rent, eh? Secrets fer secrets. So ya told 'er yours, did ya?"
"Ya knew?"
"O'course I knew, Beren. Ya don' think I took ya in as I did wi'out lookin' inta yer origins did ya?" She smiled, stroking his cheek. "I do have other shadow walkers ya know...it's just thet you're the best o' the best." Her hand fell from his face and she stared at the floor for a long moment in silence. "Sooo they's goin' ta war wi' Mog ya say? What d'ya think on thet, Beren?"
"Ya have ta ask, milady? Arter all e's done ta ever'one - includin' us?" He snorted, half laughing. "I'd join 'em, if I've yer leave ta do so...." Then he looked up at her in that charming way he had, a slight smile curling at the corners of his mouth. "Unless o'course ye'd like ta exact a little vengeance yersel'. The UnDead 'ave been invited - at least by Lady Moira. Not sure how the others'll feel about it, but what she said makes sense. We take on 'is Dark Army an' leave Mog an' his sorcerers ta them."
One dark brow cocked upward as Ursala considered this. "Thet's a rather brilliant strategy, innit Beren? Who'd o' thought thet little lassie had such devious a mind?" Ursala laughed. "However, if I do bring the clan inta this battle, I insist on bein' present at Mog's end. D'ya b'leeve thet wretch had the stones ta come ask me fer help? I don't. Just goes ta show 'ow shameless and arrogant 'e is!"
"I'm sure there'll be a great gatherin' ta watch Mog's demise. I don' think 'e fully understands how many enemies e's made, milady. Too blinded by 'is own ambitions ta rule all o' Fey-Lands. Sooo, are ye sayin' ye will bring the clan inta this battle?"
Ursala's head whipped around toward Beren. In her eyes was a look he'd never seen there before. It was the look of someone wounded to the core. Her nostrils flared and her lip quivered, as a breath shivered through her pale flesh. Cold fires flashed through her eyes turning to ice. "I don' think ya understand what 'e did ta me fully, Beren. He took away ma trust in ma heart fer the feelin's there...what little's left."
"Come 'ere," he opened his arms to her. She went without hesitation. Beren stroked her hair as he held her. "Aye, I think I do understand, love - meybe better than anyone else." He tilted her head up to look into his eyes. "Ya know I love ya don't ya? Thet I'd undo ever'thing thet worm laid on ya, an' make ya ferget the hurt he made ya? D'ya know that, Ursala?" She nodded. "There aint nothin' wrong with yer feelins woman. I'll make ya learn ta trust 'em agin." He smiled and winked at her. "Ya know I aint ne'er stepped outta line wi' ya...'less o' course ya asked me to," he laughed softly. "Come on, now. I don' want yer throne nor yer power. I want you Ursala - not cos yer queen o' anythin' but just cos I love ya. D'ya b'leeve that, milady? Let it out. Set it free an' quit bein' hurt. Tis time ta heal...ever'thing. Not just you but all o' Fey-Lands includin' the Realm o' Shadow. Let's take us outside. The moon is full. It'll make ya feel better."

Ho, I love this, because I love blue, because I love close-ups and because they are so well posed! Superb, Rayvn!

Before I even read I have to say this is a gorgeous couple image that I have been waiting for since you changed avatars. Even before knowing what is said I can tell that Beren is feeling deeply for his lady and he totally cares for her and is listening with complete intent. Ursula is a bit lost in sad faraway thoughts of what has happened in times past or is contemplating something that she must do with reluctance. Lovely, I am glad Beren got to express his feelings for her and that she let it out about Mog. I love the way that even dark characters are portrayed with such sympathy... but then I always do love them so anyways. I hope you show us a full size of your avatar... it must be close to next in the story.

Love it! This image is not only technically excellent, it is full of empathy, as is your story. It's rare to see such powerful feelings expressed in a Poser image. Bravo!

very nice work

Beautifully done! The detail is excellent on this close up and I love the blue and purple lighting. Great display of tenderness. Excellent insight to these two pivotal characters. I agree with Roxy when it comes to showing the emotions of characters that would normally be considered dark or evil. Circumstances usually dictate actions and control can sometimes be an illusion. Beautiful work.
