Description
Cryolophosaurus ellioti was a large theropod dinosaur from Early Jurassic (196-190 million years ago). It was around 6.5 meters (21 ft) long and is the first carnivorous dinosaur to be discovered in Antarctica. Early Jurassic Antarctica had forests populated by a diverse range of species and it was closer to the equator and the world was considerably warmer than today.

Any relation to Dilophosaurus by any chance? As always a fantastic render.

Great render and a superb model! Really like that you re-did this one. The accuracy to current thinking is excellent.

I think this one featured in the episode of Walking with Dinosaurs about leaellynasaura and muttuburrasaurus, but was there called a smaller kind of allosaurus. good picture.

Excellent! Love the sense of a low lying sun. Though Antarctica wasn't all the way at the bottom yet, it was still far south, so having long summer days and long winter nights. Beautiful render.
