Foto rischiosa quella di stasera : stavo percorrendo la strada che da Coltano ( PI ) porta sulla statale Aurelia per andare verso Pisa , quando vedevo questo magnifico animale sul palo della luce alla mia sinistra . Senza nemmeno pensare frenavo bruscamente raccogliendo alcune proteste da un paio di persone che avevano evitato a stento il tamponamento . Ma io senza scompormi prendevo la mia reflex e scattavo , prima che il troppo movimento consigliasse la fuga al rapace. Wonderful shot! What a majestic bird! I see hawks (and eagles!) often around here perching high above traffic on light posts or electric poles...I'm tempted to stop but never do, as there is always too much traffic and I'd almost certainly cause an accident or get myself killed!
