The Fortune Teller I had just left the Midway and strolled over to the food and game booths when I saw tucked in between the Cotton Candy and Ring Toss game an exotic tent with a sign that said “Truths” Intrigued, I stepped inside and saw the Gypsy Soothsayer knelt at a low table covered with all the tools of his trade. Without a word he motioned for me to sit down… He shuffled then laid out six Tarot cards, tossed his I-Ching coins, still without any conversation, and placed his hands on the Ouiji Oracle that scooted all over the board seemingly on its own. He then looked up at me and said “Be aware that the Universe is always speaking to us and dreams are always to be considered as messages of truth often veiled in symbols and imagery, but also with total clarity. The recurring dream that you have had since you were a child is a future truth you have been preparing for all your life. Take it to heart and you will survive”. With that he dropped his head and closed his eyes as if in a trance. I sat there for what seemed an eternity…and then realized that my session had ended, and as I got up to leave I saw a jar with a sign that said “NO Donations, Please”…
