Well, I guess there's a reason it's a forbidden chest! A very spooky and well done series, Fujiko-san! I love the way you left it slightly open-ended.. We are left to wonder if the fire will consume the house and seal her fate in the underworld, of if it will flicker and die leaving the chest to entice yet another curious victim. Very much a Twilight Zone ending.
