Description
Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs, as my grandad always used to say. Didn't understand it myself :o)
Jasmine decided she had had enough of laying about on the comfy bed chewing the pen, seems the other one was perfectly safe & as she wandered off it was still in one piece on the bedside cabinet!!!!
She did wonder how the other three were getting on & expected their adventure was amazing, better than hers.
As she walked along she came to a slight incline in the snow. She could just makeout smoke in the distance. Must be houses there she said to herself & carried on. Just a little further on she came to some steps cut out in the snow. Well in for a penny in for a pound she thought I will climb them & see whats on the top.
Well, she couldn't believe her eyes, there in front of her on a very icy pond stood two ducks. Jasmine heaven once again. She slowly took her stance & stared at them. They must have sensed her presence as all of a sudden they took to the air.
Jasmine just looked & said to herself "Job well done".
She didn't venture onto the ice as she was worried she might not be able to get a grip & she remembered that her human mum NEVER let her run free near icy pond, rivers etc.
(Her human mum is amazed she took notice :o))
Poor ducks minding their own business & Jasmine had to come along & do her bird dog thing :o)
Fat Robin was close by in the tree he gave a little chuckle & said to himself "Well at least one out of the four is enjoying themselves."

Oh this looks fabulous Barbara, I love the duck they look amazing, and the story is great.Wow imagine that Jasmine had actually listened to you. Wow! Jasmine left one pen untouched and remembered what you said about the ice! I guess I believe it, because she is such a wonderful girl, but I'm definitely surprised! :) Lovely story and image! The scene is magical. Beautiful composition and glowing light. I love the luminous light on the snow, the soft highlights and shadows on the trees, and the smoke curling up from the chimneys. Excellent work!
