Description

This grouping of birds of the Nevada area are interesting because it tells us how diverse the Nevada desert is. I hear and understand those of you who did not like the "dead" animals on display, as I do feel that way, too. Also, to me, it is a way of learning more about the birds and animals of the wild, and is better than zoos in which the animals are caged, and living in horrid conditions. In this way, the animal lives on, showing their marvelous design, and how they lived. I am sure their lives were a lot better in the wild, than in a zoo. Nevada State Museum, Carson City, Nevada.

This is a lovely display and if not for displays like this - many of us would not understand what nature has provided us in the past. Nice shot through the glass!
