Hi Guys
I am hoping that some 10 winter hand painted backgrounds of mine will be accepted to go into and open my store, so please keep your fingers crossed.
Quite a number of you have been asking for me to put painted backgrounds, cats, dogs, large cats in my store, well finally I have listened, my dear friends, and if all goes well it should be opening very soon.
This is the first picture show casing one of the backgrounds.
The little puppy dog is one I bred, we called her Rosie and she eventually finished up being crowned Norwegian Champion, I was so happy for their now owners who are also friends of mine still living in Norway.
She is painted and I tried to capture the distinct Bolognese puppy coat which is thick and trying to curl standing off from the body, she was adorable and it was so difficult to part with her.
The rest of the picture has been painted using wacom intuos3 tablet and pen, the frosted plants also are added after, and the icicles.
I duplicated the background in layers then the bottom one I lightened it quite a lot, then highlighting the darker top layer and using the eraser tool at various opacity I erased over areas that I wanted to look more lit by the moon. Also the lights in the window actually look more effective doing this.
I added a few sparkles here and there using some brushes and also my own painted star.
I also as you can see added the beautiful 3D rendered fairy, expertly created by Leilana, thank you dear Leilana.
Thank you so much for supporting my gallery so well my dear friends, and as for the last one I made my best friend Barbara (jendellas) of her beautiful departed Carla B, I was moved by the sensitive and kind comments you made.
I hope to keep coming back each day leading up towards Christmas, showing you some of my backgrounds with added extras, and yes I am bringing my beloved pets back who had to feature in the Christmas and winter scenes, and the Christmas cards I made this year.

Fantastic image Jane!!! This is completely remarkable. Your work always astounds me, but they seem to be getting even better if that is possible. Barbara's artwork and stories have also become amazing pieces. Your skill at teaching must be as good as it is at doing the art work.
