Description

I have always wanted to portray the real essence of this season.... let's start with KINDNESS. It's a hard cruel world and we all have to deal with it our own way, but we should never give up our humanity at all times. "If you want to arrange it This world you can change it If we could somehow make this Christmas thing last, By helping a neighbor Or even a stranger And to know who needs help You need only just ask." ~Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Old City Bar When people think of angels, they think of mythical beings. But real angels are just plain old everyday people who take a little time to try to make things just a little happier or better for someone else. You know, that is not a bad legacy to leave, even if no one else really knows or understands what you did or why you did it, it doesn't matter. A big thanks to Joanna (StudioArtVartanian) for this amazing Electra Set, also lots of thanks to Naomi for the pose from her Fantasy Forest Collection, Ronny Lights by shadownet Thank you for taking a peek at my work. Wishing you all a great Holiday Season! More card images next time. PREVIOUS: Sisters Forever thumb_2278667.jpg

Very distinctive looking character. Nice outfit. Good design and colours. I think it is possible to be polite with everybody but as the human population climbs over 7 billion I'm not sure about being kind to everybody. Still I suspect people don't want a wider philosophical discussion and that many regard this as impolite too!

I always find your work beautiful and inspiring. You are such a gifted artist, and you have told me you do not think you are such a great writer, but I think this time the words you wrote are as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than the art work you have created. We should all strive to be kind angels all year round, not just during the Christmas season. I think on this we can all agree, no matter what our beliefs, that to be human must mean something more than just being out for number one. If not, than why is it we as a species ever became capable of such thoughts and feelings as love and compassion and good will to others, or even would conceive or buy into the concept of some Almighty God who love us so much as to send his son to die for our sins? Whatever the season may mean to us, one thing about it does ring true. To be human, truly human, we must care about something other than just ourselves. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Very beautiful image and words Li'l Sis such a gorgeous angel.. You bring out a wonderful point in your beautiful words... In essence Christmas should be an everyday day thing in our lives not just a one day out of 365 thing.. Kindness towards one another with a helping hand towards ones neighbour should be a natural thing, but to most of us it isn't. Who is my neighbour anyway? The people next door? No its everyone we come in contact with, as the parable of The Good Samaritan shows.. If we all lived this way there would be peace in the world and good will towards all men.. May you and yours have a super Christmas and holiday season Li'l Sis.. Love & Hugs Big Bro.

So true, Lil' Sis, so very true! It's such a shame that this sentiment seems to have been lost somewhere along the way; replaced by insatiable greed, and lack of caring for our world. But good still lives, and it outweighs the bad - I firmly believe that. It needs only the chance to shine. This is as beautiful an artwork as the sentiments it accompanies. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas, Lil' Sis! Thank you for your wonderful and inspiring artwork, and generousity. You are one of a kind..
