Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

Acadia National Park is a place on my 'bucket list'. Nicely composed Ed. I like your use of foreground...it makes this picture. Always interesting to me to be able to see into a body of cool, clear water.

Oooohh! Nice! I particularly like it that I can see the rocks under the water. My eye keeps coming back to the foreground over and over again. Beautiful!

Thought that image looked familiar! It's been since the mid 90's when living in Rockland that I've been there. Good to see it again!
