WOW! Look what I found on a stump on my moms lawn!
I was so thrilled. See all the colors. There must be more than one kind of fungi. Maybe our Andrea can see how many? :D I found even one more just beside these. I will share them later :) Usually I dont see more shrooms or fungi so late in the year. Sorry for all the grass, but I didnt bring my "comb" to take it all away ;) and it was kind of clued to the shrooms.
Hope you are are having a very pleasant day.
We had very nice weather all day and Per and I have ben at my cousine and having a very nice lunch and alot of fun.

What a brilliant find, Helle! There are at least two sorts, I think! If only lorandbartho was still using RR he would know straight away! I will have a look at the book in daylight tomorrow..too tricky by artificial light!

Amazing! Such colors! It looks like a couple of the little fungus balconies have algae or something on them, giving them that nice, summer-green color! Isn't that amazing! I prefer this image the way it is, and so a comb isn't necessary. It looks like the little fungi are weaving a blanket for themselves. Stunning colors and details. I don't know, but are these the kind that can actually survive the winter? I think you'll have to check next year to see if they've grown! That would be nice! As always, this is a brilliant shot.
