Description
Too lazy to render, so here is a picture of my 2010 Kaw. Nomad 1700 (bottom pic) which I totaled. You can also see in background my 2007 Honda Rebel 250, which I still have. On top is my new death machine a 1999 Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Sorry, I forgot to take picture of the dash as it is the best part. It looks like a 1950's automobile dash. It has cruise control which does not work near as good as the Nomad's. Also has AM/FM cassette and CB. Of course it has 4 speakers. Prior owner have me have his head sets that go into the motorcycle helmet also which is the only way to talk on the CB and Aux. to plug in mp3 player. One of the prior owners changed the exhaust system , so that once again I have a bike that sounds like a Harley...sigh. I am going to see if I might pick up some stock ones at a junk yard to quiet it down. It has a just short of 1300 cc 4 cyl engine which like hard drives if it is close they round up and call it 1300 cc bike. Crap I just discovered my almost brand new computer will not boot up. Fixed it appears it does not like my mp3 player being plugged in. Rode Venture home over the snow covered passes and was pretty much OK except for my hands. Got a good case of frost bite on fingers even though I was wearing 2 sets of gloves.

Cool bikes, do you have one too?

Superb bike!

I'm confused. You don't want it to sound beefy like a Harley and want to make it quiet, and keep calling it a death machine. Sounds like you subconsciously want to sell it and get a Prius. You can die in them to you know. ;) Just saying!

I had to do a double look at your avatar... at first glance, I thought it was your last image that you rendered in your gallery, and I thought I had an optical effect to where it looked like an owl.... so, I looked at your previous upload and said - Da, it is an owl - lol as much as I love to ride a bike every now and then, I know not to own one.... it's like everytime you get in an elevator and you have problems, you pray get me out of this in one piece God and I won't ride another elevator - lol.... Bikes aren't that dangerous - it's the idiots that fall asleep at the wheel you've got to think about - lol

Wonderful bikes! I can not decide which I like best. But are all a dream and looks very comfortable. So you can eat quite a few miles ...

You sure have a lot of FRIENDS who really listen and look at your art! Friends are a treasure in life....just saying... and enjoying getting to know a bit more about you via your art and photos. I think riding a bike..hog?.. on a lovely road in the sunshine would be really uplifting...a quiet road that is... avoiding the world of idiot drivers... I do agree with "Blinkings"~ :)

So what's wrong with a Harley? I've got one and it isn't all that loud. Beauteous bikes you've got!!!
