Description

This is an experiment with LuxRender's Glossy Translucent material through the Reality plug-in for DAZ Studio. It's not meant to represent a finished render. It's just the first of my experiments along the lines of creating realistic snow and ice. I think it looks more like stone at the moment, so need more experimenting. Postworked to remove some noise, heighten contrast and blend the edge of the pond to the ground. Thanks for looking! © Justin Littler

An interesting experiment - you can certainly see some translucency in the wings. It will be great to see the final version!

It is an interesting experiment and results you have achieved sofar ... IMHO I think the statue is too bright on the opposite side to the sun and should be more like the contrast of the trees, just a mere suggestion. Cheers BB
