How perfect. How could you know that Christmas Cactus was one of my obsessive faults this time of year? Don't laugh, but during the fall, I have been known to haunt garden centers looking for the worst looking, most pitifully struggling potted plants on the benches. I buy them, bring them home and begin the task of nurturing them back to health, if possible. I hate seeing a small plant die of mass production at the hands of people who don't really care about anything but how much money it will bring them. (I told you it was an obsession...LOL) The Christmas Cactus is the most popular plants that time of year that I find needing care - and I've had many. Most are this very color. Sadly, once they start to decline from disease or neglect, they have short lives. I've had several live for as much as 5 years but most last only a couple of years - some make the first season and then die. Brandi, I thank you so much for this stellar bloom. You are indeed a master of this plant and of capturing its amazing beauty,
