Reginal Van Singh IV smiled sweetly and waved as he looked up at the security camera on the way to his quarters. He was on one of his father's cargo transport ships traveling to a new planet currently under development by a company his father owned a major portion of. His father being the ever practical man, decided that not only was there money to be made on the surface, but that a space station circling the planet could turn a tidy profit as well. Reginald was tapped by his father to observe the construction progress of this new space station and to get a few businesses up and running as quickly as possible. Reginal III felt that with all the men working on the surface, there was a ready market for various types of recreational facilities which he was only too well experienced to provide. It was these types of businesses that had created his huge financial empire in the first place, and he wanted his son to learn the ropes from the ground up. Now was a perfect time to start! Reginald IV was a bit reluctant to take on this responsibility. His mother had sheltered him from his father most of his life, but she had recently been killed in a freak accident when a meteor had crashed into one of their vacation homes on another planet several systems away. Father was crushed at the loss of his wife, for he loved her dearly, but he was not one to waste any time in grieving. Ever the practical man, he enlisted the help of his children, Reginald being the oldest of 5 boys and 3 girls, to help carry on the family businesses. Reginald IV wasn't very happy about this development, but he had learned one of his college buddies was working on the planet. He was hoping to look him up. Renn Tolbac and he had been roommates. They had bunked together 3 out of the 4 years they had attended Yale Intergalactic University. Renn had to quit his senior year when his families fortune was lost in a stock crash, but he had been in touch with Renn a few times over the years. They were still good buddies.
