Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

Beautiful Ed...which one is it sir? Like the natural frame and the outstanding subject material. Hope you are enjoying the experience of posting your images as much as we are enjoying seeing your gallery grow.

Very nice. The verticals of the trees frame the steep sides of the gorge and actually accentuate their steepness. Good work! Keep it up! :-)

Bill, I believe this is the Lower Yellowstone Falls that feed the river in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

A great shot through the trees and I like how you framed the falls with the trees. I also like your Sedona avatar.
