Description

This is a render I did in Octobre and postworked recently; I'm still not really happy with it, cause I know - from a physical POV there's something wrong; therefore the actually absurd title... Nonetheless I decided to submit it now to have a x-mas-piece ^^; And maybe I'll get some useful feedback that helps me to improve the image... Technically: rendered in TG 0.9.19 in 5 hrs 2 mins @ 3840x2400; postworked in PS CS 5 in ~ 2 hrs 30 mins Hope you like it! T4V&C

Your excellent use of saturated colors has always amazed me...this awesome work though maybe not 100% accurate with shadows and such is still....an amazing work of art!!! I love it!

Very pleasing aesthetically (sp?). My only quibble is that when viewed full size, the planet does not occlude the starts. But still an all-round fine piece of work!!

Agree with Mark about rotating the moon a bit, but the image is killer, very nice

this is an ethereal looking image, with the light directed as it is, and a slight seeming mist coming off of the water. To my eyes, it's a beauty...

Lovely work. The colours are what make it race of into the screen and penetrate my brain. The large, crescent planet inthe sky is a problem, as you can see the stars through it but aside from that defect it is a painting of subtle beauty.
