THANK YOU all so much for 'dropping by' and your wonderful comments on previous uploads (& fav.s!)!!! So good to 'see' you all!!! :-D Hope you've all had a wonderful X-mas!!! (his name happens to be Rudolph, so this one is for morningglory, no doubt... ;-D) car had been standing flat-tired for months in a row... ever since I had bought new tires, 2 of them were deflating. 1 going flat every day. Not the world's biggest issue, not very practical either... ;-D 'They' said it was because the ('lightmetal') rims were old... well, the entire thing is old, officially an oldtimer since march. (no, nothing like 1 of blinkings thingies, nor 1 of those fancy American shiny 'tanks'. Just a VW Golf II, sport edition. i.e. GTI looks and interior, 1800cc. wide tires, nice rims, huge bumpers and a tiny, tiny stearing wheel. sweet 25 now ;-D very attached to it! oh and fasttttt :-D) finally had it back on it's wheels and reanimated, cuz battery was empty. Then smoke clouds started to appear from the glove department. no good! LOL turned out that the radiator was leaking... spraying coolant all thru the ........ not a very pricey part, yet a major operation... Marco, who owns a garage, said that I could 'demolish' half of the interior myself, thus saving money. hahaha so I became a car 'demonteur'. monteur (mechanic) is a profession. ;-D of course, that wasn't too easy all the time, so while waiting for some advice, I have done a lot of work on other people's cars. meanwhile literally waiting for days till someone wasn't busy..... (will finish this boring story later ;-D)
