Description

Took this yesterday on the Chard Reservoir Nature Reserve. It looks as if the fox has mange.

It look that way although I suppose he might have been in some fights too. Good to even get a shot of one, it's been a while since I've even seen a fox!

We have them living outside our place. They run along the sand and catch rabbits. Great capture.

I wish we had foxes, guess we'll have to settle for raccoons and possums. Poor guy, bet his backside is cold; wonder if this is the latest style for foxes, the way young guys now wear their pants down below their bums?

Interesting...his/her eyes are glowing red like the eyes of a cat. Dog's eyes glow green by contrast. [all from reflected light on their retinas] I would have thought the eyes of a fox to be closer to the eyes of a dog...but I am way out on a limb of knowing very little about this subject:-) Neat capture and apparently a rare one these days in your 'neck of the woods'.

mange or not an outstanding capture.we have plenty of coyotes here, but I have never seen any foxes except for the two legged kind(always ready for a treat for the eyes)
