Description

Creating a more distressed effect provides a means to emulate some painterly effects with real media tools. Taking two pieces created in Gliftex Pro and then setting them up as layers in a 2D bitmap paint package, no canvas support this time for once during post-work. The idea being to feel as if the piece has been physically worked on and the surface scratched out a little. I will be posting pieces that extend this under my name as opposed to Gliftex Pro demonstration pieces soon. For best effect you need to view this full size, that goes for most of the images in this gallery, it's good practice to do this with any viewed image due to resolution contraints.
