Description

I am getting more confident, and deviated from the set course project in several ways for this image. All models made in Blender, some textures created in Genetica. Compositing in Blender. Rendered with Blender internal renderer. Time to render and composite: under 3 minutes. A full screen view should be worthwhile for this image.

Thank you very much! I am pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality of renders that are possible with the Blender internal render engine. Besides being fast, it has many advanced features that have only recently been introduced into the latest version of Poser. I used Blender for years but only for modelling, never rendered anything in it until I started the Nature Academy course. I should have spent more time with Blender a long time ago.

All my time with Blender was long ago! LOL! 2007-2008-ish. So much has changed and improved! This is absolutely superb.

A great looking woodland scene you have created here and those render times are very impressive.

Yes, my point being that Blender is much much faster than Bryce or Poser.
