I had a good twenty minute wait to grab this iconic shot. Between those pesky tourists and the on coming traffic. What to do, What to do.

What a shot! I always wonder how strong the breaks on those puppies are, especially if they have to stop on one of San Francisco's hills! I'll have to come there and find out. Okay, now that I've said that, I'll say this: What a frakkin' amazing shot! This is so incredibly cinematic and deliciously moody. Wonderfully evocative.

THE classic San Francisco shot! ANd, yes, wait, wait, wait until it's just right - no traffic (in SFo - you gotta be kiddin'!) and no tourists (what? No tourists in SFo - you gotta be kiddin'!). Considering the amount of traffic at California and Taylor, my! But, your wait has really paid off well. Good job with the focus on the cable car and the out-of-focus background. Nice with the lighting contrast - dark foreground and light, fuzzy background. Keep up the good work! :-)
