Description
A kolache is a warm, delicious, slightly sweet fresh-baked pastry traditionally filled with sausage, cheese, or fruit ingredients.
The kolache originated in Eastern Europe, and dates as far back as 1700. The original product was a pastry filled with fruit.
I had told Rita I was going to town to get a kolache or two, and she asked me what they were.
I cut them in half and look what happened :) :) :)
This is a sausage cheese and jalapeno kolache and a cream cheese one... mmmmm YUMMY.
I had half of each one and shared with Bill.
