After the Karoo the scenery changes completely as you will see in the upload that will follow after this upload. one can already see the green vineyards in this capture that I am uploading now. Ah yes, if my memory of the N1 serves me correctly, you have just come down the Hex River Pass, heading towards De Doorns. It is a huge change from the arid Karoo to the luscious valley. Clive
