Happy New Year to my friends at Renderosity. This is my cat, Calvin, a 20lb. ball of fur enjoying my overnight bag when we returned from a trip this past summer.

I love the idea that cats will sleep anywhere, especially in backpacks, paper shopping bags, shoeboxes, laps, hats, salad bowls, anywhere! And a 20-pound ball of fur! Yeah, I've had a few of those. One was a curtain climber! This is a wonderful shot and I get the idea that somebody might be in a similar position when the new year rolls around. Cats have such a way of putting things in perspective, after all. If they can't sleep through it or on it, then it isn't important! This is brilliant and I love the warm wishes embedded in it. I hope your new year is a great one, full of wonderful photo ops! And dozing cats!
