Close your eyes my love Put down your books No more reading about fairy tales It is time to live in one No more early nights and bookcases Full of the dreams you wish could be Your knight in shinning armor has come To set you free I will put one foot on the sun And hold it down forever So you can dance in the moonlight For all eternity I will release 10,000 doves into heaven Just to sing you a lullaby While you fall asleep in my arms And wake up in my dreams My love you will never shed another tear Or ever be alone For I know God has sent me To love you If you do believe in fairy tales and you do dream dreams then this poem is for you
