Description

May the light of peace spread round the world. I decided a while back to post my white lights picture for New Year's Day. Then I took a picture during the Christmas Eve service. It's not a great picture. I took it by propping my pocket camera on the pew in front of me. But I like it and I like the universal wish for peace that comes on when we light candles and sing. It doesn't matter the religion or indeed if any religion is involved. It is a feeling of connection that goes back into the deepest memories of humanity. I felt that connection as I sang. And then I snapped a picture. :) I wish everyone a joyous and peaceful new year.

It looks like it, that I am the last again, with my good wishes for you and your loved ones, for the NY~2012~ but only by a couple of days ;) 363 days to go, to get my act together for the next one! BB PS a bitter Pecan? - that can happen! you are not superstitious by any chance?, it's not a bad omen! BTW that wasn't a crack in the sun either (no worries) it was just a low cloud layer with a gold-lining ;)
