Description

She rides on clouds, searching out evil-doers. She is a gleaming protector of the innocent, defender of justice, and truth, and dedicated to virtue. She has vowed to use her powers light the knights of old, to right the wrongs, avenge the victims of evil, and defend the weak and powerless. Her name: Storm Rider, seeking to strike the wrongdoers of the world... I could write a small book about the making of this character, A lot of work went into her creation, with various utilities, add-ons, and programs used. The best way to describe this character is the mix of the old and the new. The Character: The most important thing to mention was Dimension3d's Generation 4 utility that now is available at DAZ as Genesis Generation X. The other really important items were the shaders from OmniFreaker. Without the Elite Human Surface Shaders, and the Uberhair Shader, this image would not be. Unless noted otherwise, these were the base shaders that I used in this image. Of special note, I want to mention LMDesign, and her Rosy V4. Her masterful skill provided the Face and hand textures that you see. I only had to use the default settings to get the result that I wanted. The base character is Genesis, with a lot of morphs incorporated through the Gen4/GenX utility. The 3rd party packages that had a major part in the creation of this character: Morphia for V4 by Capsces Digital Ink (DAZ), The NBM and NGM for V4 by Posermatic(DAZ) Bailarin Del Fuego (face)(DAZ) GND V4 (face)(RMP) Natalie V4 (face) (RMP) The eyes were from Danae's Milan Character. Though one of the first V4 characters available, she still renders beautifully. The Hair: Madelyne for V3 (Daz), One of my all time favorite hair styles, I was delighted to find that this is easily adapted to Genesis. Using the Uberhair Shaders completed the package for a very pleasing effect. The outfit: It was quite a process to get the outfit the way it is. The outfit started as a second skin texture from the Armortek V3. Using Texture Converter 2, I adapted it to V4 UV set. Its shaders were further updated. Finally, I added some custom touches and tweaks to get its unique look. The vest and the gloves are from the Nightshade set available at DAZ, a little tweaking was all that was needed. The boots were from the V4 Bodysuit Expansion with a shader and texture update. Circlet from the "Destiny Jewels" available at DAZ. The skin wings from V4 Creature wings, using a combination of the "Chrome" settings from the shader set and the original maps for the wings completed the character. Chair from the Xpose set tweaked, modified and re-shaded. Lights are from Dreamlight's Studio Light Pro Package, and SaintFox's Studio Moods for DS. Background was a picture that my wife took, and then was modified in Photoshop. Rendered in Daz Studio 4 Advanced, post-worked in Photoshop Elements 5. Thanks to all the vendors, whose products made this possible. Thanks most of all to God above for all the gifts that He has given me, and allowing me to have the resources available.
