Ah...the Victorian Age; it had a particular look, but I'd hate to have been a housewife back then. Oh wait, they didn't have the internet either. Okay. I like the modern age. I like this picture, immensely as well. Mostly because everyone in it looks like they're actually having fun and it looks like a fun group! Fun groups are always nice. Great group shot, and I particularly love the menswear of the period. As for the womens' wear...fantastic: only I wouldn't look good in a skirt...or would I? No, I wouldn't. Great shot and I love that this is actually the first photo of 2012 that I've seen. I love the happy mood of it and I hope it's a taste of things to come. Brilliant. And Happy New Year to you!

when I went to a small town in Colorado there were so many ladies dressed in period clothing.it was like walking on to a movie set.I like this color version better

Wonderful to see it in color too! Dressing up in all that rig is only fun if it is optional. I do like the coats with capes though. I remember reading about men wearing many caped coats. I imagine, like all fashion, that could get excessive. Excellent capture!
