Description
Zlata, Buck, Meadow & Jasmine were all sat together on New Years eve talking about what resolutions they were going to make for the New Year.
Buck decided he was going to be more active, not sleep all day & see if he could manage sleeping in the conservatory at night without a hot water bottle.
"That would be good" said Meadow. "I think I will try to be less shy, be more forward & I will really try to eat fish, if mum forgets I don't like it & makes it for breakfast."
"Well done" said Zlata, trying desperately to think of something she could give up.
"Errr I will try not to be moody & the centre of attention & not so much of a drama queen."
"Oh I wouldn't say you are all those things" said Buck & Meadow almost together.
"I would", chimed up Jasmine.
"Hark whose talking" laughed Meadow. "Anyway what New Years resolutions are you making?"
"Well let me see" thought Jasmine.
"Firstly I will try not to chase the ducks on the park"
As she said that she could picture a duck & really did wonder if she could keep to that.
"Secondly, I will NOT find pens & chew them" as she said that she did wondered if making resolutions was really her sort of thing.
"Thirdly, I will take greater care of my dollies"
"And mine" piped up Meadow.
"Yes I will leave yours alone altogether & not chew the eyes off mine as soon as I get a new one" said Jasmine, really not too sure if she was doing the right thing making these promises.
"Also" she started
"Flip are there more" asked Zlata.
"Yes" Jasmine replied. "I will not pinch food out of the fridge, or off the worktops & if mum leaves the door open into the hall I will resist the temptation to eat Mr. Bucks food."
"Blimey we are going to be good, arn't we" laughed Buck, knowing that there is no way Jasmine really knew what making New Years resolutions was all about.
"Have you finished" Meadow asked her.
"Think so, isn't that enough" Jasmine replied.
"OOOps, hang on I will not go into the conservatory & pinch anything that is not mine"
"Like what" Zlata asked her.
"Selotape, paper, plastic etc, etc, there that is it" Jasmine felt quite proud of herself.
"How can you manage giving up all those things, for the year" asked Buck.
"What a year" shouted Jasmine "No I mean I am giving them up tomorrow, NEW YEARS DAY, its going to be hard just tomorrow, never mind a whole year."
Buck, Zlata & Meadow gave a huge sigh & burst out laughing.
That Jasmine Butler, what is she like. Don't answer that :o)

LOL I was getting worried we would never recognize Jasmine again. If she ever really gave up that many things permanently, she wouldnt be Jasmine anymore. :) Excellent job on this Barbara. Happy New Year to you and all your buddies.

Ducks, pens, dollies, everybody else's food, tape, paper, plastic...the story of Jasmine! Well, it is going to be a very quiet day around your house today, isn't it? A fine start to 2012 but I'll bet she can't make it for a day. :)

Easy to say and very difficult to do as my Beatiful . But there will always be room forimprove as. Bravo is still a very good resolution from the year. I let a thousand smiles ((5 + +)) Facile à dire et très difficile à faire comme ma Belle . Mais il y aura toujours place à s'améliorer comme . Bravo encore c'est une bonne résolution de bien partir l'année . Je te laisse mille sourires ((5++))

Well! I thought Jasmine was being a little over the moon with her resolutions list! But fortunately it was only going to be for New Year's Day .. did she manage to keep all of them for that day? Can you imagine her trying to keep them for a whole YEAR??? LOL! This is such a wonderful scene Barb! You've created a marvelous room for Zlata .. who knew she had her own bedroom? And the details are simply terrific! Right down to Jasmine visualizing the duck! Gorgeous!

Oh this is so funny, how on eart will Jasmine stick to her resolutions, and I love her duck thoughtwave.
