Description

Welcome to 2012! One thing I've noticed is that my fractals do not suffer from subtlety... Due to perhaps my artistic inexperience or maybe my overcomplicated life...Either way, my final results are usually akin to hitting the viewer over the head with a blunt instrument rather than leaving the viewer someting to ponder. This must be why I labored so long over "Venus"~ I always begin with good intentions and then somehow the result turns into a "Mercury" or the over-complicated "Saturn". (I'm gonna yank Saturn and re-work it - It's my New Years resolution). Or, God forbid, turns into my "untitled"! Anyway,in this spirit, I present..(cue drumroll)... "Venus" ~ A work of exquisite understatement and subtlety. (Hint: self mockery)
