Description

The best Christmas / NY present....on December 23rd our Daughter Pam presented us with a new Grandaughter, Layla is a Sister for Josh, who you've already met. People comment on how fast I can produce aircraft, Layla's got me beat :-) Pam phoned to say she was getting pains.Her mum Karen picked her up and drove her to the Hospital.Sat at traffic lights, 2 minutes from the Hospital, Pams waters broke.Entering the Hospital at 12:25 Pam was taken to an anti-room and the Nurse was about to go and find a Mid-Wife and see if a delivery room was available.Pam said "I don't think so"..Layla was in her Mothers arms at 12:29 and the Nurse had a new skill set (and a lot of cleaning up to do).Mother and baby are home and doing fine, though Layla seems to have one of my traits, she likes to be awake...at night...all night :-) Though she makes up for it in the day, when Josh is awake...it's a hard life being a parent...much more fun being a Grandparent....

Good looking offspring Neil. One of my two daughters was like Layla...I dropped my wife off at the front door of the hospital, zipped off to park the car, raced back in and had a new baby waiting for me:) There was a cemetery to drive through just prior to reaching the hospital...the joke was I just about had a daughter born in a cemetery. Lol. So, congratulations Grandpa. Hope you can wait until she gets big enough for a job down at the "plant"!

Oh, Neil! She is so amazingly beautiful! Her features so delicate and the sweet rosebud mouth is perfect. Congratulations! I now have 6 grandchildren and I agree, it's much easier to be a grandparent then it was to be a parent. Again, she's a princess...
