A brilliant compo! I've bought a new calendar..365 words one for each day. Yesterday was 'ab ovo'- 'from the beginning': but it comes from 'ab ovo usque ad mala' literally 'from the egg to the apple'. The Romans started a meal with eggs and finished it with apples. I'm inspired to a pic..maybe you too, Cynthia?
