Nice image! Ground textures, lighting, and the pose is great - can't quite make out the background, though. Perhaps the tree (or building?) line is too straight, too perfect. Perhaps a bit of randomness would help - stagger the heights of the objects in the background. Good work!

I like this image. The expression on his face is well done. I think you could improve it by moving the camera so the guy is more to the left of the pic, then ensuring he's under the light from one of the lamps. That way you've got a single point of focus for the image which contrasts with the background (which, incidently, I don't think needs changing).
