Description

Thanks to all for the many nice comments on my last photo. The architecture in Barcelona is the most fantastic & creative I've ever been fortunate enough to experience in person. Aside from the Gaudi works that are visible everywhere, this kind of amazing work is visible throughout the city. I don't know who the architect/designer of this particular example was - can anyone out there educate me?

THis looks like something I'd expect from Gaudi...at least I think so. If I am not mistaken, that's a very famous piece of architecture and you captured it so perfectly here. I really like this immensely. I love the curves and the lines and the sense of place and color is spot-on-perfect. This is brilliant!

So very Spanish...the shapes remind me of wood carvings seen on 16th century galleons.

I thought Gaudi when I saw it, but I'm sure he inspired many other architects! My knowledge is too limited to help out, but broad enough to love this! It's so unusual and beautiful, and your capture is just right.

Truly exquisite architecture and capture of this amazing structure! I have never been to Barcelona, but seeing this certainly makes me wonder about the types of structures to be found in this place, wishing to see more! It’s really something else to look at this over and over again, each time seeing a different detail… fantastic lighting, and Thank you so much for sharing this! A remarkable capture!
